Tom and I took tomorrow off to get the rest of our shopping done so I can start our wrapping, but we have a massive snowstorm coming through right now (yes, again!), so we may be snowed in.  Anyone want some snow?  ;)

I am VERY proud to say that I ordered my xmas cards and letters today.  I decided to make a card out of 4x6 print and ordered a whole slew of them for $30.  Then I called my local printer and had them print up a whole slew of bxw letters (with lots of photos) for $11.  I hope those turn out ok!  I'll definitely share them once I actually get them mailed.

Are we having fun yet??  Let's all deep breath together, shall we?

I'm definitely breathing a little easier today.  After two post office runs yesterday, all but a few Etsy orders/prizes have been mailed and I'm very happy about that.  Although the post office says that First Class Mail is 2-5 days and Priority is 2-3, they said yesterday that with the volume and weather (we had another crazy snowstorm yesterday), packages could be 1-3 days late.  That makes me extremely nervous, so I won't be taking any more orders for xmas.  After I mail out my last few orders today, I'm going to focus on cleaning up this house (yikes), checking the xmas list again (double yikes), figuring out if Tom needs to take Friday off so we don't have to battle the mall this weekend, figure out who can print my xmas cards/letter and get them to me super asap (suggestions anyone???), and making up some new gift tags.  We're a week away - goodness me.

I also need to get the girls tights for their school program on Friday and Jack a shirt to wear under his sweater.  I could really use a venti cappuccino right now ;)

So, is anyone else stressed out of their mind right now?  LOL  I knew it was going to happen, didn't I?  The things most bothering me are my xmas cards/letters (which still have not been ordered) and a new set of gift tags that I plan to put up this week.  Right now my focus is on my Etsy shop, though.  I worked all weekend long while Tom played super dad/husband.  He's been so supportive of this new venture and I couldn't be more thankful for that.  I have a slew of custom orders to finish up today and other goodies I'm hoping to add.  Sparkly snowmen went SO fast, but I'm planning to add more tomorrow.  I'm also hoping to put more photo ornaments up, although I have quiet a few orders for those that need to be completed first.  I made some really fun kids' bracelets that I have a few left of and some sweet necklaces that went pretty fast.  You can see my currently inventory here. 

Allrighty, back to work I go - 10 days 'til xmas!!

I'm still trying to recoup from my marathon day yesterday.  I had to be up at 3:30am to be in the office by 6:45 and then I hopped a train home with one of my Directors at 7pm.  It was a very intense day, but it's always great to see the people I work with - and share a cocktail (or two).  I was so proud of myself by leaving the house on time AND having time to stop at Starbucks for a giant coffee.  The barristas were cracking up at me as I was sitting in front of the drive through speaker, unable to open my car window because it was FROZEN SHUT.  U G H.  Winter stinks - have I mentioned that? ;)

Actually the snow has been really pretty, so I shouldn't complain.  The same day I mentioned it was raining and all the snow was melting we had a HUGE snowstorm - big wet flakes that made my daily post office run a little difficult, but it was really pretty to look at while sitting in massive amounts of traffic.  Amazing how I love the snow at xmastime, but once xmas is over and the kids have had a chance to go sledding once or twice, I want it gone.

Ok, it's back to work I go!  I have tons of work work to do, a layout due, XMAS CARDS to finish/order, and a million other things.
